Meet Alessandro, but his friends call him "Aless". He was from a poor family that exist in the Ring of Greed. Zia, his mother was Aless' emotional support and mostly work together cleaning homes of other imps. His father, Diaz, was the biggest financial supporter, but they barely made enough to make ends meet. One day he decided to become a thief who stole from other families and Overlords. Eventually he became more greedy and distant with his family, eventually abandoned them. Years later some Greed sharks arrived and took Aless to an Overlord named Tontune "The Pardoner", Pardoner told him that Aless is owned by him to clear his Father's debt to him.
It turns out that Diaz was caught stealing from the Pardoner, but before they can bring him in he committed suicide. Aless refused at first but the Overlord threatened Zia will take his place if he didn't. He was forced to fight along with a team of fellow imps and hellhounds and imp hybrids the Overlord put together for fights in an arena called The Ripper Rotunda. It's found in the Dread Hulks, a large ship where High Class and/or rich Demons visit to see the fights. Many demons arrive to place bets on the teams to win, it was a popular place for gambling. No rules are applied, the audience can even throw weapons into the Rotunda to increase the chances of the team they bet on to survive. Each demon in there was a slave who ran into Tontune that are indepted to him via crooked deals. A little over a decade later, Aless and some of the other prisoners somehow had their cells and collars open out of nowhere one night, but they still had to fight there way out. But eventually most were taken out by Tontune himself. Aless abandoned his best friend ,Valis just to escape to see his mother again. But then he met Striker,an Overlord Hunter, at the front gate and offered him a holy knife and decided to run back to save Valis. But it was already too late and he died with a smile right in front of him. Aless, as he was stunned with guilt and despair, Tontune mockingly told Aless that his mother, Zia, overworked herself to death to complete the debt to free Aless. Aless fought Tontune full of rage and killed him slowly and brutally. Striker offered a partnership, but Aless refused saying that even if he were to take vengeance on Overlords it won't bring back his teammates and mother. Striker told him to keep the knife since he had plenty and that the offer still stands, and Aless' gold tooth and holy knife served as reminders of his past.
Striker, however, betrayed Aless by giving Mammon his identity for a large sum of money, and now he's the most wanted imp in the 7 circles. Not just for getting Aless' bounty, but hatred towards him for killing many of the loved ones that were slaves like him in the Ripper Rotunda.
After he escaped the Greed ring and made his way to the pride Ring since there's mostly sinners than demons there. He was about to give up, but then woke up to Charlie Morningstar, the princess of Hell,and Vaggie, her protector, in a hospital (if they have those in Hell idk). Aless was afraid and enraged at the sight of her, believing she was no different than the Overlord that owned him. But after seeing Vaggie, a damned human sinner, defend her good will, made him doubt his earlier thoughts, not by much though. Charlie and Vaggie visited him daily until it was time for him to leave, Charlie decided to hire him as a guard for her like Vaggie in case she goes to the other rings and because she noticed that there were demons waiting for him outside the hospital. Aless was reluctant, but he took the job anyway. He worked for her for a year and understood the kind of person she was, and eventually accepted her as a friend. Now he's the doorman for the Happy Hotel and will do all in his power to watch over Charlie and Vaggie until they reach their goal.
